HERITAGE TOUR 1:
(2 ½ days)
This tour starts you East of Fulton

The Missouri River flows through the heart of central Missouri. Two of the first white men to travel up that river were Meriwether Lewis and William Clark, along with the rest of the Corps of Discovery. In the 1820s a state capital was established on the Missouri. History of another kind was made in 1946 when an Englishman came here to give a speech.

HERITAGE TOUR 2:
Two Explorers & a Prime Minister
This Tour starts West of Fulton (2 ½ days)

In addition to great food, the itinerary Includes:

Day 1
 - For lunch, perhaps try Peggy Jean's Pies, where they bake up "Paradise in a Pan."
 - Visit Thomas Jefferson's original tombstone, as well as two excellent university museums. The Museum of Art and Archaeology
    features major works of art, plus ancient art and artifacts. The Anthropology Museum interprets the natives of the United States
    and Missouri and the state's early settlements.
 - Tour Daniel Boone County Historical Museum and a 19th-century rural farmstead.
 - Stroll Fulton's historic downtown and turn-of-the century neighborhoods.
 - Tour Historical Society Museum in Downtown Fulton.

Day 2
 - Tour Auto World Museum
 - Tour Missouri State Capitol.
Day 3
 - Tour Winston Churchill Memorial and Library in the United States and Berlin Wall Breakthrough Sculpture.


GRANDPARENTS TOUR:
Fun For All Ages (2 ½ days)

How many grandparents have said that, if they'd known how much fun grand kids were, they'd have had them first? A grandparents tour gives the generations a chance to bond in a very special way. Start off with a train ride and then explore central Missouri. It's great fun for children of every age!

Day 1
 - Tour Missouri State Capitol and museum.
 - Tour Missouri State Highway Patrol Museum with interactive exhibits, five patrol cars, from 1931 to the present, and law

 - Now it's time for dessert. Central Dairy is a Jefferson City tradition. Sundaes and cones come in over-sized portions at |
   amazingly low prices!
 - Explore Runge Nature Center. Let the kids learn about Missouri's wildlife habitats. There are aquariums and other animal exhibits to enjoy and five hiking trails to walk off that ice cream!
 - Play a round of miniature golf.

Day 2
 - Arrive at Auto World Car Museum in Fulton. Kids of all ages will enjoy the variety of vehicles here. There are vintage fire trucks, tractors, and a car that dates back to 1895! Also included in the museum is a large model train set-up. The grandmothers will love the Clark Gable corner!
 - Explore Shelter Gardens.
 - Tour University of Missouri Vet School. Be sure the kids bring apples or carrots to feed the mules.

 - Take a walk on Fulton's covered bridge trail.

Day 3
 - Arrive at Winston Churchill Memorial and Library in the United States. Introduce the youngsters to an important statesman and teach
   them about freedom at the Berlin Wall sculpture.

SOFT ADVENTURE TOUR:
Bikes, Hikes & Spikes (2 ½ days)

Central Missouri can provide you with plenty of options to keep you active. Outstanding golf courses, a hiking and biking trail that goes through some of Missouri's most beautiful countryside, nature centers, and state parks; all of these and more make this an excellent option for those who want to stay on the move!

In addition to suggestions for great food, this tour includes:

DAY 1
 - Bike the Katy Trail.
 - Play mini golf

DAY 2
 - Enjoy a round of golf at Tanglewood Golf Course or hike the walking trails.
 - Enjoy lunch at Vintage Restaurant at Stone Hill Winery
 - Bike another stretch of the Katy Trail.

DAY 3
 - Before you head for home, head to Runge Conservation Nature Center for your morning walk.


WINE & DINE TOUR:
First Class Pampering (2 ½ days)
In addition to great food, this itinerary includes:

Let's face it! We all like to be pampered now and then. This itinerary lets you feel as if you really are something special. You can taste, touch, and experience the best that Central Missouri has to offer on this first class tour.

DAY 1
 - Lunch and shopping. Choose from fun restaurants like Peggy Jean's Pies or Flatbranch Pub & Brewing for lunch. Then wander
   through such great shops as Bluestem Missouri Crafts, Poppy, Legacy Art & BookWorks, and fine clothing stores. For a truly
   special treat, the Candy Factory offers a look at how their sweets are made and samples of the product.
 - Stroll Shelter Gardens through a five-acre garden which features a wide variety of trees, annuals and perennials.
 - Visit Sault's Drug Store Soda Fountain, shop for that treasure in historic downtown Fulton, and stroll the historic neighborhoods, or
   receive a Swedish massage.

DAY 2
 - Tour Winston Churchill Memorial and Library in the United States. The centerpiece of the Memorial is a Christopher-Wren designed
   church transported to Fulton from London, England.
 - Lunch at Court Street Coffee.
 - Hermann is known as "Rhineland on the Missouri." Get a feel for the architecture of the town while browsing the downtown shops.
 - Tour Deutschheim State Historic Site. The site includes four 19th-century buildings featuring Missouri German handwork, folk art,
   and furniture. Costumed interpreters relate the story of German culture in Missouri.


Nostalgia Tour (2 days)
In addition to great food, this itinerary includes:

First evening:
 - Dine at a real Post Office
 - Catch a Movie at the 1923 Theater in downtown Fulton.

Day 2
 - Shop historic downtown Fulton
 - Visit Sault's Drug Store Soda Fountain for a treat.
 - Visit a genuine general store for a sandwich, pop, and a little shopping.
 - Check out the Red Wagon Antique Mall
 - It is the 60s at the 63 Diner for dinner.
